A few useful details.
Do my photos leave my device?
No. Conversion runs locally in your browser. This tool does not upload your photos or create a server copy. Keep this page open until you have downloaded the results.
What happens to image quality and metadata?
JPEG uses lossy compression. The quality slider controls the balance between detail and file size; it cannot add detail to the original. Photo metadata, including GPS location and capture information, is not copied into the JPEG.
Which files can I convert?
HEIC and HEIF still images, up to 50 MB and 50 megapixels each. Add up to 20 files and 200 MB in one batch. For a file containing several images, only the primary still image is converted, or the first image if no primary is marked. Animation, depth data, and additional frames are not included.
Why might a conversion fail?
A damaged file, an unsupported HEIF variant, or limited device memory can prevent conversion. Try a smaller batch in an up-to-date browser. An error on one photo will not stop you from downloading other successful results.
