A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
A little clarity.
What can this tool remove?+
It works best for small text, date stamps and watermarks over simple backgrounds. It fills your selection using nearby pixels. Large marks, repeated patterns and marks over faces or detailed objects may leave visible artifacts. The tool cannot recover the exact original pixels hidden by a mark.
Does my photo leave my device?+
No. Processing happens locally in your browser. The first repair downloads about 11 MB of editing files from this site, then your browser can cache them.
What size image can I edit?+
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 30 MB and 50 megapixels. To keep editing responsive, the working copy is resized to at most 2,560 pixels on its longest side and 6 megapixels. The displayed dimensions are the dimensions of your download.
How can I improve the result?+
Cover the entire mark, including its shadow and soft edges, with a narrow margin. Repair small areas separately. If a repair looks blurred, undo it and make a smaller, more precise selection.
